Tales from the Prison Cell is a creative documentary about the relationship between fathers in prison and their children at home. In addition to the focus of presenting three incarcerated fathers, we gain insight into the changed lives of their families and children.

The strength given by sharing their similar life-experiences might greatly boost the students’ chances of advancement. A noted trainer arrives to support the teachers in helping their students to learn, how to help both each other and themselves.
We follow a heart-warming mutual learning process, in which the all-enthusiasm aunt Ági and the right out of a burnout syndrome uncle Sanyi undertake to lead the student-training. However, they are just as much on shaky ground as the students themselves.

NINE MONTH WAR tells the story of a mother and son living in the shadow of the military conflict between Ukraine and Russia. Twenty-four-year-old Jani lives in a small town in western Ukraine, and is part of the minority Hungarian community. An only child whose father died five years ago, Jani is fed up with the boring life in his hometown, and drowning in the love of his mother. When he is drafted by the Ukrainian Army, he could sneak out of the country to escape the military service just like his buddies did. Instead, he chooses to go to the war, 1,500 kilometres away.
