CV

Judit Sára Elek after her music studies, worked as a music editor in a radio. She graduated in film theory and history at Eötvös Lóránd University, Budapest, Hungary, and started film studies master programme. Later she started documentary film directing master’s at the University of Theatre and Film Arts, Budapest, Hungary (SZFE). After the model-changing at SZFE, she continued her studies at Academy Of Performing Arts, Bratislava, Slovakia. She will graduate in 2022. Megálló/Station, her first short documentary, won the prize “The sweetest sad film” at the 65th Hungarian Independent Film Festival, got “Special mention” at BIDF Budapest Documentary Festival in 2021, and Grand Prize at Bujtor István Film Festival, 2021. She works as assistant director in short fiction films, and also in feature-lenght documentaries. She is a member of an experimental choir, called Soharóza.
